Two Winn-Dixie stores in Indian River County, Florida now offer a refreshed shopping experience which their customers have never seen before.

Winn-Dixie store No. 2366 in Vero Beach, Florida and store No. 2354 in Sebastian, Florida recently completed renovations and now feature upgraded departments and expanded offerings.

Each store team welcomed hundreds of community members during customer appreciation events to showcase their new amenities. Shoppers were treated to new décor and stylish wood flooring that are now prominent in several departments. Store No. 2366 Store Director Rich Romani and store No. 2366 Store Director Scott Finke heard a good deal of positive feedback from community members, who enjoyed samplings of the new, chef-inspired prepared foods, including hand-carved brisket and salmon. Winn-Dixie District Director Mark Nyquist says the stores’ new amenities had their communities buzzing with excitement.

“The amount of happy faces that filled each building as customers experienced the revitalized stores was breathtaking,” said Nyquist. “From the new deli to the expanded bakery, residents couldn’t wait to share their favorite addition to their neighborhood Winn-Dixie.”

Winn-Dixie provided Sebastian area shoppers with even more excitement, as the store team partnered with the Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the grand opening of a new Wine and Spirits Store. The new store earned tremendous fanfare from customers as they browsed an extensive selection of beer, wine and spirits just steps away from their renovated Winn-Dixie store. Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce President Beth Mitchell says she was happy to be a part of the grand opening festivities.

“We are proud to take part in such a momentous occasion to celebrate the renovation of our Winn-Dixie store and welcome the new Wine and Spirits store to the community,” she added.
