BI-LO Store No. 5103 in Martinez, Ga. helped to make the holiday season a little brighter for customers of all ages for two weekends in December with visits from Santa Claus and his elves.

The in-store event provided children the chance to share their Christmas wishes with Santa as parents enjoyed a festive shopping experience. Elves (straight from the North Pole) even made an appearance and twisted balloons into clever shapes.

A complimentary picture for each family captured the holiday moment.

“All year, we try to not only get involved with the community by hosting interactive events such as this one, but we also look to simplify our customers’ shopping experience,” said Tammy Mertins, store director at BI-LO No. 5103. “The holidays can be stressful, but we know that Santa infuses Christmas cheer wherever he goes.”

Mertins and her team at the Martinez BI-LO brought holiday spirit to the community. Customers shared their appreciation, but the real measure of success was the smile on each child’s face.
