Local customers flocked to BI-LO store no. 5747 in Mullins, S.C. March 7 for the store’s first customer appreciation day.
Even though customers were faced with drenching rains and close to freezing temperatures the weather never stops BI-LO customers as they braved the weather conditions to take part in the customer apprection day.
Despite rain and frigid temperatures, the day began with customers lining up for $20 gift cards given to the first 200 customers who entered the store. The morning giftcard giveaway was followed by a drawing every hour for one of eight $50 gift cards. The front end of the store was packed with customers each hour as BI-LO Store Director Chantal Collins drew the winning ticket. At lunch, customers were treated to a free hot dog lunch, complete with chips and a drink.
“The weather conditions prevented us from having everything we had planned, but our customers still had a great time.” Collins said. “Our customers are a large part of our community, and it’s nice to be able to host a day especially for them.”
