One lucky shopper each day received $100 in Winn-Dixie gift cards during the weekend-long Customer Appreciation Celebration to celebrate Plantation, Fla. store’s one year anniversary. ​

Winn-Dixie store No. 757 in Plantation, Fla. recently celebrated its first year of serving its South Florida neighbors. To thank the customers in the store’s community, Director Donald Durham and his team hosted a two-day customer appreciation celebration.

The weekend-long festivities attracted new and returning shoppers as the word spread. The store has made community friends and has attracted new customers through community partnerships and in-store events.

“We have worked very hard to make sure we are visible and accessible to Plantation residents,” said Durham. “The customer appreciation celebration was our way of saying thank you to those that have trusted us in providing the best shopping experience possible.”

Customers who attended the event were treated to a variety of samplings from several departments throughout the store. Along with a variety of artisan cheeses, shoppers could sample anassortment of wines to find just the right pairing. As event-goers enjoyed live music and giveaways throughout the event, children were treated to face painting activities. For two lucky Winn-Dixie customers, their visit to their neighborhood grocer was highlighted by winning a raffle for $100 in Winn-Dixie gift cards.

“Our customers are the reason we continue to strive to provide the freshest products and the best quality service possible,” said Winn-Dixie District Director Robin Castillo “Donald and his team have done a fantastic job in making sure the shoppers that visit their Plantation Winn-Dixie continue to return.”
