La Feria de la Familia, Spanish for “Family Fair,” is an annual Hispanic celebration in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Winn-Dixie joined Kraft as the presenting sponsors of this year’s fair, which attracted a crowd of more than 25,000 people.

WRMD Telemundo Tampa organizes and promotes La Feria. Telemundo Account Executive Pedro Roman said the goal of the event is to increase attendance from year to year—and Winn-Dixie’s participation helped bring in one of the largest crowds to date.

“Winn-Dixie gave the attendees an experience that we have never had and hope we continue in the next year,” said Roman.

Winn-Dixie took over the children’s area and created the Family Zone. Winn-Dixie also presented Cooking with Curtis trivia games, in which attendees could guess the preparation price for some of his recipes in a “game show” style.

La Feria is a nationwide celebration hosted in cities across the country. As the premier Hispanic Expo of its kind, La Feria is a powerful forum for businesses to demonstrate commitment and strengthen brand within the Hispanic community.

As part of Winn-Dixie's participation, attendees could guess the price of Cooking with Curtis recipes in a game-show style trivia game.

La Feria de la Familia is a family-friendly event that had a number of activities for attendees to take part in, including temporary tattoos, balloon artists and trivia games to name a few.
