Throughout the first half of the school year, several Winn-Dixie stores in the Miami Region built connections through education during Math Night events. Associates greeted hundreds of students who spent quality time with their families, teachers and school administrators inside their local Winn-Dixie store as they completed worksheets and enjoyed fun-filled activities.

“Math Nights are a great opportunity for our associates to connect with their school partners and local families for a fun night of learning, helping form stronger bonds between our stores and our customers,” said Jorges. “It’s when those families and partners know they can count on their neighborhood store team that we can build meaningful relationships and become an invaluable resource in the community.”

The following Winn-Dixie stores welcomed their school partners and families to enjoy Math Night events: store No. 212 – H. L. Johnson Elementary School; store No. 353 – E.W. Stirrup Elementary School; store No. 370 – Sunset Park Elementary; store No. 254 – Tropical Elementary School and Blue Lakes Elementary School; store No. 249 – Coral Terrace Elementary School; store No. 201 – Palm Springs Elementary School; store No. 2366 – Citrus Elementary School; store No. 228 – Charles Drew Elementary School; and store No. 2349 – Lakewood Park Elementary School.
