BI-LO store no. 5747 in Mullins, S.C. participated in the fourth annual Taste of Mullins festival, May 1 at the town’s Lions Club park.

BI-LO joined the festival as one of the many stations for residents to taste the wonderful food that can be found in Mullins. At the BI-LO tent, Store Director Chantal Collins offered samples of BI-LO’s wonderful banana pudding, cake from the bakery and an array of Chek soda flavors.

The first Taste of Mullins was held in April of 2010 and was a huge success for the city. The event has grown each year and this year 300 residents attended the event. It featured samples from vendors and individuals who enrolled to display their favorite creative dish. Other activities at the event included a martial arts display, face painting and various activities for attendees to take part in.

“This was a wonderful event for our community,” said BI-LO Store No. 5747 Director Chantal Collins. “The following week customers raved about the event and thanked me for BI-LO’s participation in the event.”
