For the third year in a row, Worth County Primary School wins the top school in the Harveys Hometown Educational Rewards Program.

The Worth County Primary School supporters have earned the school over 515,500 points throughout the past year, which the school has redeemed for various school supplies to start the school year off strong.

Harveys District Director Alton Marcus and Nathan Ooten, director of Harveys store No. 1647 in Sylvester, Ga., presented Worth County Primary School Representatives with the supplies at a presentation Aug. 22.

The Harveys Hometown Educational Rewards program provides free educational equipment and supplies to local non-profit public and private schools, kindergarten through high school. The program allows parents and supporters to link their personal Rewards Key up to two local schools. Then, each time they shop with their personal Rewards Key, the school automatically earns points towards $250,000 in free educational equipment.

“The school was very pleased to win this award again,” Ooten said. “They always need extra supplies for the school year, so receiving this helped them tremendously this year.”
