Associates at BI-LO store No. 5716 in Rock Hill, South Carolina celebrated the grand opening of their newly-remodeled store Nov. 12 while taking time to give back to the community.

Associates and community members gathered to officially unveil the store’s upgraded features and expanded offerings. BI-LO officials cut a giant red ribbon and presented more than $82,000 to seven nonprofits throughout the greater Charlotte, North Carolina area from grants awarded through the Bi-Lo Holdings Foundation.

Rock Hill native and BI-LO District Director Rodney Towery spoke to the crowd about the company’s commitment to the Rock Hill community and the people who live there. “We value our customers and neighbors in the Rock Hill community, and we are excited for them to experience their new BI-LO,” he said.

The remodeled store boasts an expanded deli department, updated produce department, new service meat and seafood departments, refreshed décor, upgraded pharmacy and new flooring. Customers can now select from a variety of grab-and- go options, including an expanded hot bar full of Southern favorites, hot chicken wing bar or custom-made sandwich station. The store also offers expanded fine wine and cheese sections.

“Our associates are dedicated to providing customers the best possible shopping experience,” said Avery Price, store director at the BI-LO in Rock Hill. “From custom subs and wraps to a hot bar and upgraded pharmacy, we want our customers to enjoy a variety of fresh food choices paired with a convenient shopping experience.”
