The newly-renovated Winn-Dixie store No. 386 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. continues to impress customers.

On Jan. 9, more than 150 neighbors attended a “Meet the Manager” event to top off the store’s grand opening events. Store Director Jason McCullough led his team of department managers for an evening of food and fun.

As seasonal visitors trickle into the beachfront community, the store team continues to welcome an influx of new customers. The store’s new team -- including McCullough -- and each department manager had a chance to get acquainted with their neighbors in a great start for the New Year.

“Our team has really been extraordinary at providing exceptional service that has continued to attract new customers to the store,” said McCullough. “This event was about showing our shoppers that their satisfaction is our highest priority.”

Customers enjoyed delicious food and wine tastings, live jazz entertainment, Winn-Dixie giveaways and more throughout the evening, all while interacting with the Winn-Dixie team. While the Meet the Manager event was a success, McCullough recognizes the importance of impeccable customer service on a daily basis.

“Our new and improved store, along with our knowledgeable associates, has had a tremendous impact on our neighbors,” he said. “We have redefined the way the community thinks about their Galt Ocean Mile Winn-Dixie.”
