The Palm Beach Gardens, Florida Winn-Dixie store No. 333 team recently unveiled its brand-new look and expanded offerings during a grand opening celebration Feb. 19.

The event kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Palm Beach Gardens Mayor Bert Premuroso and Vice Mayor Eric Jablin, and the team welcomed more than 900 customers to the store throughout the evening.

Shoppers explored the store’s new upgraded and expanded deli, bakery, produce, meat and seafood, wine and floral departments. They were also interested to see new grab-and-go meal options, such as a marble hot bar with carving station and fresh sushi prepared by an in-store sushi chef.

Store Director Don Ducharme, who received a commemorative plaque from Miami Region Vice President Tony Jorges, greeted customers, many of whom complimented him on the newly-remodeled store.

“We had hundreds of shoppers who were stepping foot in our store for the first time in several years that were commending our team on the new amenities,” said Ducharme. “It was very special to watch new and current customers enjoy a totally new shopping experience at their Palm Beach Gardens Winn-Dixie.”

In another effort to connect with neighbors, the store teamed up with the Rotary Club of the Northern Palm Beaches, who helped greet customers and distribute flowers from the new floral department. Rotary Club of the Northern Palm Beaches President Thomas Ali said he was delighted to begin the new partnership with Winn-Dixie.

“We were honored to be a part of this special celebration and welcome our neighbors to their lovely new store,” he said. “We look forward to working with Don and Winn-Dixie to build a relationship that will benefit our community.”
