Associates from Winn-Dixie store No. 326 represented the company at the 12th annual event on Oct. 17, offering hungry participants samples of Winn-Dixie’s award-winning apple pie from the store’s bakery department.

Store No. 326 Bakery Manager Violet Dube and Deli Manager Candace Hill joined Store Director Scott Jazynka in giving participants pie samples, reusable bags and recipe cards. Several customers said they recognized the store team and were thrilled to see Winn-Dixie represented at the yearly event.

“Taste of Tamarac has become a truly beloved community event, and we always receive a warm welcome from our neighbors when we attend,” said Jazynka. “We are proud to partner with the Greater Tamarac Chamber of Commerce to share our award-winning pie during one of the city’s largest gatherings of the year.”

Jazynka and the team were again presented with an appreciation award on behalf of the chamber. Greater Tamarac Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Peter Mason said he’s thrilled Winn-Dixie continues to be a part of an ever-growing community celebration.

“Our crowds have increased year after year and Winn-Dixie has made sure attendees have a smile on their face and a full stomach,” he said. “We thank Winn-Dixie for their continued support and helping us bring the community together for an unforgettable afternoon of fun.”
