There weren’t any hot dog eating contests, but associates had a taste of Coney Island during the week of August 4 as the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Tour stopped at the Greenville and Jacksonville store support centers during its cross-country tour.

Hundreds of associates took part in the frankfurter fun at each store support center with carnival-style games and interactive activities including a Zoltar Fortune Teller machine, a hot dog-eating contest championship belt display, a claw game with promotional prizes, and a photo booth.

Associates also sampled Nathan’s Hot dog products, received coupons and giveaways for a bun-tastic time for all. The tour also made a stop at Winn-Dixie store no. 103 in Fleming Island, Fla. where additional activities included mechanical pony rides, cooler bag giveaways with customer purchases and more.

“We were thrilled to share a little Coney Island flavor with our customers as they enjoyed our newly remodeled store,” said Store Director Steve Brim. “The carnival brought a lot of excitement to the store as families had fun playing the carnival games.”
