Executives and board members of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga (RMHC) spent the day on May 29showing their appreciation to BI-LO store directors who have consistentlyadvocatedfor the organization and its mission.

Ronald McDonald House Executive Director Jane Kaylor was one of the representatives who drove to numerous BI-LO stores throughout southeast Tennessee and northwest Georgia to personally thank the 16 store directors who raised more than $36,000 during the recent community donation program.

Each store director received a special “thank you” gift and had the opportunity to chat with the very excited and grateful RMHC staff. The group also took the opportunity to snap a few photos with an oversized check.

The following week, District Director Daryl Massey attended RMHC’s annual “Radiothonandwas an on-airguest on CAT Country 95.3 FM to talk about BI-LO’s longtime partnership with the organization.

“We continue to raise important funds and awareness for the Ronald McDonald House because of the generous amount of care and support they provide families dealing with the stressthat comes with having a seriously ill or injured child,” said Massey.

Representatives from area BI-LO stores will be guests at the organization’s annual meeting, scheduled for later this month.
