Hardworking, caring, dedicated and passionate are words used to describe four BI-LO associates who are celebrating more than 150 years of combined service in South Carolina.

Appropriately, they’re known as the “Fantastic Four.” Sharon Heller, Karen Snipes, Linda Harvey and Wanda Garrison are well known around store No. 5256 in Pelzer, South Carolina, not just for their combined 152 years of service, but also for their exemplary work ethic.

Center Store Lead Sharon Heller has been with the company for 43 years and Grocery Lead Karen Snipes has worked for BI-LO for 39 years. Both Linda Harvey, center store lead-DSD, and Wanda Garrison, pricing lead, are celebrating 35 years of service.

All four women currently work at the same store, and Linda and Sharon both worked for their entire careers in Pelzer. While Wanda and Karen were employed at other area BI-LO stores, they were both hired at store No. 5256 on the same day.

To recognize their tenure, fellow associates and customers held a celebration where they presented each with a commemorative plaque and gift.

“All four ladies play a vital role in the success of our store,” said Matt Pace, store director. “They are constant motivators to fellow associates and we consider ourselves very lucky to work alongside them every day.”
