The Victoria Park Winn-Dixie store management team prepares for their grand opening celebration Nov.12.

Victoria Park Winn-Dixie store No. 290 recently unveiled a new look to its Fort Lauderdale, Fla. neighbors.

The store team celebrated the recently-completed renovations with customers during a Nov 13 grand opening celebration at which shoppers explored the store’s new upgraded departments and expanded offerings.

Store Director Jessica Franiuk welcomed members of the Victoria Park community to the celebration and shared their enthusiasm for their neighborhood Winn-Dixie store’s new décor and amenities.

“We have a tremendous connection with the Victoria Park community so the praise and complements we received from our neighbors surrounding the store’s new features is very special,” said Franiuk. “I am excited with all of the changes throughout the store and look forward to sharing them with our customers.”

Winn-Dixie representatives welcomed the United Way of Broward County to present a $20,000 grant from the Bi-Lo Holdings Foundation. Miami Region Vice President Tony Jorges said the remodeled store and the donation were fantastic opportunities of give back to the community.

“It was great to witness all of the delighted shoppers enjoy their refreshed Winn-Dixie store and also provide a wonderful organization with much needed funds just before the holidays,” said Jorges. “Its engagements like these that put us in the forefront of our communities and showcase our dedication to being a caring corporate neighbor.”
