The associate team at Harveys store No. 1643 in Blountstown, Florida rolled up their sleeves and took part in the annual North Florida Wildflower Festival April 25.

Wildflowers are special to the area, and Blountstown is recognized as one of America’s premier wildflower destinations. More than 250 species of the flowers bloom throughout the local area, and the festival promotes the beauty and charm of the region.

The festival features plants, flowers, artwork, entertainment, kids’ activities, and education opportunities, and Harveys hosted a station where children could decorate eco-friendly flowerpots with stickers, glitter, markers and more. Harveys associates helped the children to decorate the special flowerpots and to fill them with soil and seeds to complete the children’s soon-to-be perfect, thriving flowers.

“This festival is very important to the Blountstown community, as it highlights the beauty of the area,” said Store No 1643 Director Matthew Barfield. “It was wonderful being able to show our customers that Harveys is dedicated to helping preserve what makes Blountstown so beautiful and providing a fun activity for our young customers.”
