From kindergarten through college, September is Open House season for many schools.

To show their support for their educational partners, several Miami-area Winn-Dixie store teams joined Open House events to welcome students and families as they met withschool faculty and learnedabout their classroom’s curriculum.

On Sept. 3 and Sept. 4, Winn-Dixie welcomed thousands of college students back to campus during Florida International University’s Welcome Week events. Students were treated to money-saving Winn-Dixie coupons and giveaways, and were given the opportunity to sign up for a Winn-Dixie Customer Reward Card.

Between Sept. 11 and Sept. 23, Winn-Dixie stores from Vero Beach to Miami partnered with local schools during their Open House events. Store Directors personally dropped off Winn-Dixie platters from their deli and bakery departments, provided giveaways and promoted store offerings.

“Participating in Open House events is a great way to reconnect with our school partners and showcase Winn-Dixie’s commitment to education,” said Winn-Dixie Miami Region Vice President Tony Jorges. “It’s important for our Winn-Dixie store directors to be recognized as a resource to students, families and school staff.”
