Winn-Dixie store No. 510 in Miramar Beach, Fla. showcased its brand-new features during an open house celebration that invited customers, community partners and local dignitaries to browse the new store’s offerings.

The evening was filled with food and beverage sampling, musical entertainment and exclusive giveaways for customers, including Winn-Dixie-branded insulated bags, signature deli items, long-stemmed roses and more.

Store No. 510 replaced neighboring Winn-Dixie store No. 561 and store management was thrilled to invite customers to explore its fresh, new design. The spacious storefeatures the latest open store layout, combining the atmosphere of a specialty grocer with the personalized service of a neighborhood market.

“The amenities in our new store offer an upgraded experience tailored for our shopping community,” said Tim Flavin, Montgomery Winn-Dixie regional vice president. “We are very excited to offer an exceptional and convenient shopping experience to our customers. The new store features the items they want and need, great service and some of the freshest products available.”

The open house event showcased the new store’s enhancements, including upgraded in-store amenities such as refreshed deli and bakery areas, a brand new pizza station, a custom sub bar and an expanded produce department highlighting natural and organic varieties as well as a specialty cheese shop. Customers also enjoyed the new chef-inspired meals for easy, on-the-go shoppers, including a new sushi bar offering meals prepared by an experienced sushi chef. Store No. 510 also features a liquor store, providing another offering for its customers.

Store sales for the week of the grand opening were one of the highest for Winn-Dixie grand openings, Senior Sales and Marketing Manager Kim Smithers said.
