Winn-Dixie proudly presented the Fourth Annual Taste of Black Jacksonville held on Friday, Oct. 4at the Regency Square Mall.
The Taste of Black Jacksonville was the kick-off event for the Florida Black Expo that celebrates local caterers, chefs and restaurants in the area for their culinary expertise. Winn-Dixie associates interacted with attendees and offered giveaways including wine stoppers.
“The Taste of Jacksonville and The Black Expo were great opportunities for us to interact with the local community and showcase our store offerings and savings,” said Andrea Rodriguez, Bi-Lo Holdings Sales and Marketing Manager, Local & Own Brands. “We were a proud partner of this year’s event and look forward to next year.”
As the presenting sponsor of the event, Winn-Dixie hosted an interactive display space featuring a Chek Cola display and other Own Brand product samples. Associates also showed attendees ways they could save by shopping BOGOs, Mix and Match, Make a Meal, Dependable Deals, the weekly ad and how those savings help save at the pump with fuelperks! Attendees also enjoyed spinning the prize wheel for a chance to participate in raffles of gift cards, triple-layer chocolate cake, organic coffee and more.
The Black Expo attracted over 18,000 attendees that enjoyed live entertainment, karaoke, a money machine and much more fun for attendees.
